Service scope

Nozze.io is a digital service that provides couples with tools to plan and run their wedding: public wedding page, RSVP and invitations, WhatsApp integration, seating planner, allergy intake, and related features. The service is provided by Biagio Distefano, a self-employed sole-trader based in Austria.

§1.bis Partner accounts and demo weddings

Partners are users invited personally by Nozze.io to evangelise the service (wedding planners, photographers, dress shops, venues, florists, etc.). Each partner is offered the ability to create one (1) complimentary "demo wedding" for demonstration purposes only — to showcase the product to prospective couples. The demo wedding must not be used for an actual wedding (real guest list, real RSVPs, real vendors). If Nozze.io determines in good faith that a demo wedding is being used for a real wedding, we reserve the right to delete the wedding and its associated data without prior notice, without refunds, and without any liability. To use Nozze.io for a real wedding the partner must create a separate wedding under a paid plan (or apply a discount code as usual). The one-demo-per-partner cap is enforced at the service layer: a second demo wedding creation request is rejected. Partner status is set by staff upon acceptance of a PartnerInvite and cannot be self-asserted.

Subscription and payments — paid on signup

Service access activates at payment time. There is no free trial: after registering the wedding you are redirected to Stripe to pick a plan and complete the purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe Managed Payments (Stripe acts as Merchant of Record: it issues the invoice, collects VAT, and handles refunds at the technical level).

Right of withdrawal

The service is a digital service supplied on a non-physical medium and starts performance immediately. At checkout we ask you for two express declarations: (a) consent to begin performance immediately and (b) acknowledgment that, by giving consent (a), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to this contract under art. 59 lett. o of the Italian Consumer Code (transposing art. 16 lett. m Directive 2011/83/EU). The subscription cannot be completed without both declarations. They are recorded (timestamp, IP, copy version) and confirmed by email.

Auto-renewal

Recurring plans require an explicit auto-renewal acceptance before the first charge. We send a reminder email at least 30 days before each annual or semi-annual renewal; for monthly plans the reminder is bundled with the receipt for the period just paid.

Cancellation

You can cancel the renewal at any time, without penalty, from your wedding settings or from the Stripe portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period: access continues until that date and no further charges are made. Symmetric cancellation on the same surface where you subscribed, in two clicks (art. 33 lett. i Italian Consumer Code).

Contract confirmation

Upon payment you receive an email summarising the chosen plan, amount, renewal cadence and a link to the in-app subscription settings. Keep it as proof of the contract.

Conformity and changes

Service is provided in accordance with D.Lgs. 173/2021 (transposing Directive (EU) 2019/770). If non-conform, you may request remediation or, where impossible, terminate the contract and obtain a proportionate refund. Material service changes are notified in advance.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service for unlawful activity, spam, or content that infringes third-party rights. We may suspend accounts in breach. Suspension for cause does not entitle to a refund.

Liability and force majeure

Service is provided with professional diligence. We are not liable for third-party outages (Stripe, email providers, WhatsApp/Meta, hosting) beyond mandatory law. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount the customer actually paid in the 12 months preceding the event. Mandatory consumer-law liabilities remain unaffected.

Jurisdiction and ADR

For consumer contracts the consumer's domicile court applies (art. 66-bis Italian Consumer Code). You may also use the European Commission's ODR platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Changes to the Terms

Any change to these Terms is communicated by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not accept the new terms you may cancel the renewal without penalty; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
